Do insurance companies check credit scores and base your rate off of that, partially? Corrupt much?

Understand if you have a low credit score, you are a higher risk than someone with a good credit rating for paying your bills on time and generally the stress of having poor credit is in effect unhealthy. This means you are a bad risk for insurance.

Recently my windshield was smashed and I dont want to have my insurance cover the replacement if my rates are going to go up. Can i just call them and ask or is that just a stupid question?
Unlikely that the windshield will even meet your deductible so it will be better off just to pay for the glass out of pocket. If you have a 500 dollar deductible the windshield will be about 350 installed, this is what usually happens, so there is no
