I have my Life & Health Insurance Licenses, and am looking to earn extra income selling burial insurance to generate sales for local funeral homes, with which I already have a rapport. How do i get appointed with a additional company? I work full
Does your current employer ALSO feel that there's no conflict?
What you'd do, is contact the local marketing rep of the company you'd like the appointment for, and ask them for that appointment. Be sure to already have your general liability

contact the insurance carrier you wish to represent. You'll have to ask if they'll appoint you to sell their products. If they accept broker business you'll get a package that you'll need to complete. You'll return that application, copy of your E&O

A measure to reform Florida's no-fault auto insurance system -- long under the microscope due to staggering premiums and rampant fraud -- squeaked through the final hours of the state legislative session, but it's unclear how long it will take the changes to become visible to motorists.
While the ultimate goal is to reduce fraud and scale back car insurance premiums, that could take a year or two, predicts Michael Carlson, executive director of the Personal Insurance Federation of Florida, (PIFF), formed by State Farm, Allstate and Progressive with the aim of making the Florida auto and homeowners insurance markets more competitive. Combined, the three companies insure 45% of Florida motorists.
