I know some may argue that people pay in to medicare and the insurance companies, so what the people don't pay the doctors or hospitals. They agree to a reduced menu. like a doctors visit may pay $50 whereas Joe the Plumber coming off the street may
It's an old idea, but how about people make arrangements to pay their medical bills monthly.
Most hospitals and clinics do not charge interest in the first place, and are usually happy to make arrangements.

Just wondering; I had my first lesson a couple of days ago and I only had insurance for 30 days, so it'll expire in less than a month. I'm assuming that's not enough time, considering that my brother's teaching me and he only comes up once a week...

Automobile insurance rates decreased for a seventh consecutive year in New Brunswick, according to the 2011 Consumer Advocate for Insurance report.
The average premium was $731, down from $742 the year before, the report released Friday states.
The auto insurance market has shown continued stability since the provincial government introduced reforms in 2003, said Consumer Advocate for Insurance Ronald Godin.
