I am going to get a prescription for birth control pills, but I am still part of my mother's health insurance plan. I have my own health insurance card, though. I was wondering if the policy holder (my mother) will find out that our health insurance plan
Depending on the type of insurance you have, she may get a copy of the explanation of benefits from the doctor appointment.
She won't know about the prescription, unless you tell her, or she finds it.
